Grade 80 Hammerlocks

A hammerlock is a coupling link designed to connect chain to other fittings as the inner dimension of chain doesn’t usually provide enough space to make a connection. Hammerlock coupling links can be used for attaching chain to master links, eye type hooks, connecting components during chain sling fabrication, or installing a new branch to a sling. Also known as hammer locks and sling links, they are assembled by hammering a pin through the center. Hammerlocks are a favorite of riggers because they can easily be assembled and disassembled in the field using only a hammer and punch.
